IDE 552 - Digital Media Production

COURSE SUMMARY

The emphasis of IDE 552-Digital Media Production is on learning and practicing the basic digital media design principles utilizing Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Camtasia, and WordPress to create a series of projects based on best practices in design, accessibility, usability, and instructional design principles. Topics include Design principles, Photoshop, Video editing, HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design, and WordPress.  Further, IDE 552-Digital Media Production is designed to instruct students in Web site construction and design from beginning to end. The goal is to emphasize more than just the skills associated with individual programs, but the integration of several programs into designing effective and attractive products.
